Raised Letters is a complete writing platform for fiction and non-fiction authors — a chapter editor with checkpoint/version history, alongside AI-powered editorial tools that provide feedback, style analysis, and writing assistance based on the techniques of published authors.
By using Raised Letters, you acknowledge that its AI features are an editorial assistant — not a co-author, publisher, agent, or professional writing advisor.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create using Raised Letters. We do not claim any rights over your writing, manuscripts, or creative work.
We do not use your manuscripts or creative content to train AI models.
We provide checkpoints and version saves as part of the editor, but Raised Letters is not a substitute for your own backups. We strongly recommend keeping at least one copy of your manuscript on your own device at all times.
Raised Letters is not a backup service. We are not responsible for any loss of data, manuscripts, or creative work. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of all content.
Your manuscript and other sensitive project content (style guide, world bible, editorial letter, and related fields) are encrypted at rest. This content is not accessed, read, or reviewed by us as part of normal operation.
Raised Letters does not censor or restrict manuscript content based on subject matter, theme, or genre — including dark, mature, or otherwise controversial material. Responsibility for the content of your manuscript rests solely with you, the author.
Raised Letters uses AI models to generate editorial feedback, suggestions, and rewrites. All AI-generated content is provided for creative assistance purposes only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any content you choose to use.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable. We make no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of any generated content.
The editorial personas available in Raised Letters are inspired by the documented craft techniques, writing principles, and published works of named authors — as studied through their publicly available writing and interviews. These personas are editorial lenses only.
Raised Letters is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any named author or their estate. No association with any named author is implied or intended. The use of author names refers solely to the editorial style inspired by their craft.

Token top-ups are one-time purchases and are non-refundable. Unused tokens do not expire.
Raised Letters is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Raised Letters is operated by a single individual with AI assistance. Support is provided on a best-effort basis. Response times are not guaranteed. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
You agree not to use Raised Letters to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or in violation of any third-party rights. You agree not to attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raised Letters and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of creative work.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
